Two and a half minutes of History
Whether it was the dazed hilarity of waking up at 9 am on Brother Bear’s living room sofa, the slightly-post 9 am strut home or the uncharacteristic semi-clean state of my house, I had a feeling today would be an auspicious day. Auspicious indeed; within half an hour I had stumbled on an old file on the computer.
They were old Sky News reports on South Africa. From the year 1994. They are reports compiled in the build-up to South Africa’s first democratic elections after nearly 50 years of Apartheid. I’m sure the momentous significance of this needs no hype or explanation. I dont want to offer any commentary on this, because there is simply too much to be said. It’s a reflection. The only shame is this a mere 2 and a half minutes of the reports I wanted to share. Enjoy it busy bees.
