Crew Laptop Case

So I figured this will protect it to an extent, but what I also need is a case that it can slip inside, that has a little bit of padding in it to save it from small drops and the such. When I was at the Apple store I looked around but didn’t see anything that I felt justified spending £30 on, so I figured I would just make one.  When I got home I found an old rugby shirt in my closet that I didn’t wear anymore and just started cutting it up.

I figured I would cut out the general shape and then flip it inside out and it will work perfectly. So thats pretty much what I did.

I pinned it up and then used the sewing machine to sew (fairly) accurately the silhouette I had pinned out.

Unfortunately after this I did not take any more pictures of it being made, but below are the finished shots. After I had finished the sleeve, I thought that it would be good to have some more padding inside so that it would really be protected.

I think this laptop case has been the most productive procrastination that I have ever undertaken, so really I’m not going to count it as procrastination, perfect.
